The second iteration, expanded and electrifying. gyzelle garcia's residency at The Underline DC will host LQDLG in an unforgettable way.

Lo Que Dijo La Gitana is an immersive production experience that includes a 75-minute performance (interweaving storytelling, poetry and song), a multimedia exhibition, and interactive installations.

Designed for an intergenerational and multi-cultural audience, It is not merely an invitation for the community to engage with the story of the artist. More importantly, it is an opportunity for guests to create collectively, documenting their own narratives through the various mediums and formats that the installations provide. Ideally, folk leave impacted to further share or preserve their own stories, as well as those of whomever helped shape them as people.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience the exhibition and 7 interactive installations before and after the performance, in addition to a closing reception with food history offerings by the artists family.
